Advocacy & Professional Involvement
Dr. Johnson is an active member of the retina and ophthalmology community, holding affiliations with the American Society of Retinal Specialists, the Vit-Buckle Society, the Los Angeles Society of Ophthalmology, the National Medical Association, and the American Medical Association. As a researcher and educator, he serves as Co-Investigator on clinical trials advancing retinal disease treatment — including a Phase 3 study of EYP-1901 for wet AMD and a Phase 1/2a study of REGN7041 for noninfectious uveitis — and has authored publications and presented at national meetings such as the Retina Society, the American Society of Retinal Specialists, and the Pacific Retina Club.
