How It Works

That’s why, during LASIK surgery, we use industry-leading lasers to create a small protective flap of corneal tissue, then lift up part of it and painlessly alter the curvature of your eye. The top layer of cornea is put back in place, and your eye should fully heal in a matter of weeks with new and improved vision!
The Three Steps of LASIK

Our High-Tech LASIK Surgery
We use two corresponding LASIK lasers, the Ziemer FEMTO Z8 laser and the Nidek, which lets us treat a greater range of vision needs: one laser is dedicated to creating the small corneal flap, while the other solely focuses on reshaping the eye. Your Fast Recovery and Results
While LASIK surgery is painless and has little downtime, you won’t be able to drive immediately after your appointment. You’ll likely notice some improvement in about a day, but it will take about a week to notice significant enhancement. You should be able to return to normal activities within a few days of your procedure, but since we utilize customized treatment plans, every patient will have a different experience. After your surgery, we’ll schedule follow-up appointments so we can ensure you’re still seeing clearer than ever! Typically, patients are able to achieve 20/20 vision or even better!
