Advanced Technology
Our team uses state-of-the-art technologies to perform your surgery and is expertly trained in three different excimer laser systems, as well as two different keratome technologies. We’re the first in the region to carry the Swiss-made Ziemer Z8 femtosecond laser for cataract and LASIK surgery and INTACS ring incisions. And to position ourselves on the cutting-edge of ocular surgery, we offer CATz (Topography Guided LASIK). Dr. Dougherty also helped develop the EVO Implantable Collamer™ Lens (ICL) from Visian, being one of four surgeons in the U.S. to be in the Elite Master’s Club of STAAR Surgical, the device’s manufacturer.
