My name is Ron Zepeda, Director of Sales at DLV & ADV Vision.

I have been in the role for a little over 2 years now and manage a growing network of approximately 300 Optometrists and Ophthalmologists.  In my role, DLV & ADV Vision has seen a healthy growth rate of approximately 20% year over year in referrals from the network of Doctors.  Currently, I am working on expanding into different markets to gain competitive market share while helping existing accounts become more optimized.  Additionally, I am looking to improve and standardize our Patient Counselor department in 2018 while looking to hire and diversify the team.

I grew up as the youngest of 7 in Chico California, home of the Green Bay Packers great Aaron Rodgers and Sierra Nevada beer.  At an early age, my parents instilled hard work ethic and education which inspired me to do both.  I am very proud of the fact that I put myself through college debt free while working full time and earned my degree in Chemistry.

Prior to DLV Vision, I spent approximately 12 years at Johnson & Johnson.  The first half of my career at J&J was spent selling Pharmaceuticals in Texas where I earned many accolades as Rep of the Year and Presidents Club.  In 2008, I transition out of the Pharmacy industry and into the Medical Device industry at Vision Care in Southern California.  While at J&J Vision Care, I absolutely fell in love with the industry and Optometry as a profession.  I decided that based on the vision needs of Americans and the incredible business model, I wanted to remain in the eye industry.

As a Sales Rep, you really are never off, but when I am “not at work,” I enjoy spending time with my beautiful family where there is never a dull moment.  I personally love running and mountain biking and often compete at local and regional races.  I can also occasionally be found at a new release of a romantic comedy at the cinemas my wife or lost in a great book at Barnes and Noble.
