I was so hesitant to have my cataract surgery. I was to the point I really needed it done. My aunt and a friend had it done somewhere else in the last year or so. It was not a happy story for them. But my two eyes are so great now. I had the Toric lenses for astigmatism. Now I chose to see distance clearly and to need cheaters for up close. I assumed I would be at a total loss without the cheaters, but fortunately for me, I can manage often times without them. That was such a pleasant surprise. I can drive at night with confidence, and of course, no glasses. It’s been 40 years since I could do that. Thank you to a kind staff, to Dr. Kennedy, Dr. Le, and my surgeon Dr. Dougherty.
