Community Food Drive: Supporting Ventura County Families
In November–December 2025, the Dougherty Laser Vision team hosted a holiday food drive to support neighbors facing food insecurity. We’re proud to partner with Food Share of Ventura County, Ventura County’s regional food bank and a member of the Feeding America network, helping rescue and distribute nutritious food through a wide network of local partners.

Andrew Dougherty Vision Foundation
Founded by Dr. Paul Dougherty, the Andrew Dougherty Vision Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring sight to those who might not otherwise have access to care. The foundation provides life-changing vision correction surgeries for individuals affected by poverty, war, or natural disasters—both in the U.S. and internationally.
DLV Vision proudly supports this mission, helping restore not only sight but also hope, opportunity, and dignity for people around the world.
Conejo Free Clinic
As part of our local outreach, DLV Vision supports the Conejo Free Clinic, a trusted resource serving uninsured and underinsured residents of Ventura County.
Through contributions of time, resources, and medical expertise, our team helps expand access to essential vision and eye care services, ensuring that everyone—regardless of circumstance—can receive quality healthcare close to home.
San Fernando Valley Optometric Society (SFVOS)
