Dr. Spencer graduated with honors from the University of California Geffen School of Medicine in 1989. He went on to complete residencies in internal medicine and ophthalmology through UCLA Medical Center and Oregon Health & Science University. He is certified in ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is a fellow with the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
After completing his education, Dr. Spencer joined his father in practice. Together, they established the Spencer Eye Surgery and Laser Center, a free-standing ambulatory surgical facility in Camarillo, CA. Today, he brings his deep compassion and over thirty years of experience to patients in Oxnard.
