Houman Vosoghi, M.D.

Dr. Houman Vosoghi is an Ophthalmologist that specializes in the medical and surgical management of Glaucoma. He graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychobiology from U.C.L.A and received his medical degree with AOA honors from the University of Buffalo.

Dr. Vosoghi fulfilled both his internship and Ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee where his interest in glaucoma flourished under the mentorship of Dr. Peter Netland. He completed a fellowship in glaucoma under the leadership of Dr. Joseph Caprioli and Ann Coleman at the Jules Stein Eye Institute at U.C.L.A where he was chosen as the prestigious Rosalind W. Alcott fellow. He also served as a clinical instructor to the residents at Jules Stein Eye Institute teaching advanced surgical techniques in the treatment of Glaucoma.

In additions to the traditional forms of Glaucoma surgery, Dr. Vosoghi also specializes in less invasive forms of Glaucoma surgery known as MIGS (Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery). He is a sought after speaker and medical expert witness in the field of Ophthalmology and is frequently sought after for second opinions by his colleagues throughout Southern California.
