Dr. Devon Kennedy grew up in Templeton, California prior to attending the University of California, Davis where she earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neurology, Physiology, and Behavior. She pursued a professional Doctor of Optometry degree at the Southern
California College of Optometry (at MBKU) in Fullerton, California. Dr. Kennedy served as the past president of the American Academy of Optometry Student Chapter, in addition to assisting in dry eye and scleral lens tear exchange studies as a Research Assistant. During the academic program,
she received multiple scholarships for excellence in clinical practice and graduated with honors.
Dr. Kennedy went on to complete her externships in specialty eye care settings including: Camp Pendleton Naval Hospital, VA Bakersfield Community Clinic, VA Southern Nevada Healthcare, Orange County Retina and the University Eye Center. She is currently serving on the board for Los
Angeles County Optometric Society and is a contributing writer to CovelentCareers.
When she’s not in clinic, Dr. Kennedy enjoys yoga, hot pilates, traveling, and exploring new wineries in the Paso Robles area.
